What We Do
-
Options Education & Support
Our Client Advocates provide compassionate support and accurate information about all pregnancy options: abortion, adoption, and parenting. We help you think through your choices and provide decision making tools to empower you to make a well-informed decision.
We also offer self-administered, urine based pregnancy tests in-Centre if you're uncertain of pregnancy.
No matter what pregnancy decision you make, we are here to support you for as long as you need.
You are not alone!
-
Pregnancy/Parenting Education & Support
We provide information on everything related to pregnancy and parenting, including nutrition, fetal development, handling your emotions, labor and delivery, taking care of a newborn, baby milestones, and the early years up to age 2.
We also offer education on important life skills like budgeting, finding a job, and managing a household.
-
Post Abortion Recovery
Everyone deals with a past abortion in their own way. Emotional responses to a previous abortion can depend on things like your age at the time of the abortion, how far along you were in your pregnancy, your cultural and religious beliefs, and any pressure you felt in making that decision.
Your grief can be complicated. You do not need to go through it alone. We offer various post abortion recovery programs and your Client Advocate will be able to help you choose which one is best for you.
-
Healthy Relationships
Connected is our new program about healthy relationships. It’s here to help you figure out and fix what went wrong in past relationships, and to guide you in building better ones in the future. We also offer tips on setting healthy boundaries in all areas of life.
-
Male Mentorship
We have a male Client Advocate who offers both educational and emotional support specifically for men and fathers seeking assistance at our Center. Our male mentor is dedicated to helping men navigate their needs and connect with the services we provide.
-
Essential Items
Our active clients have access to our Care Closet, which provides emergency relief with essential items tailored to their needs.
This service is not open to the general public.
The Care Closet, stocked by generous community donors, includes a variety of maternity and baby essentials such as maternity wear, diapers and wipes, and baby clothing.
